本課程將介紹形上學中的主要議題。我們將會使用標準的形上學教科書來選定一些主題，並聚焦於不同形上學立場彼此之間的爭辯，以檢視這些立場主要支持與反對的論證有哪些。以下是本課程將討論的主題:

本課程之目標在使學生
(1) 對於形上學是什麼有些基本的認識
(2) 對於各個形上學議題背後的問題意識有一定程度的掌握
(3) 對於各個形上學議題中主要的立場有基本的理解
(4) 對於各個形上學立場的主要論証有所掌握
(5) 對於有興趣的形上學議題能提出自己的見解

課程要求 |
Each week, a lecture will be given on a particular issue to introduce students to the main debate and the main arguments in the selected topic. Introductory texts from some standard textbooks will be provided to help students in their learning. Classes led by the teaching assistants will be arranged for discussing the assigned readings. Students are required to attend the classes and participate in the discussions. |
